Hamish was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease aged 55, which was a devastating blow; after many nights of research he quickly established the way forward - daily activity, continuing his Agency work ethic and physical exercise, supported by a healthy diet.
His sporting ‘loves’ include golf, rugby and more recently cycling. He was one of the first participants of the inaugural Sport Parkinson’s Four Nations Golf Tournament played over the legendary Ryder Cup venue at The Belfry Championship Golf Resort in 2021, represented his Country was a first, where he proudly competed with another 32 fellow Parkinson’s battlers, playing for the coveted trophy alongside generous sponsors and legendary celebrities . . . This October he hopes to make his 3rd appearance for Team Scotland looking for their first Trophy win!

In conjunction with Old Reigatian Rugby Club, Hamish started the first Walking Rugby team to encourage Parkinson’s suffers to meet, move their bodies (not RUN!) and socialise while having a bit of fun.
And last but not least, after having completed the London to Bruges charity cycle in May 2022. He has now challenged himself and other Parkinson battlers and Non PD cyclists to ride from John O’Groats to Lands End in May 2023; this will be achieved through 4 PD battlers completing 25 miles and more a day for 10 consecutive days working a relay system.
We are looking for lots of support in this endeavour, whether it is cyclists completing the whole course, or joining us for one day.
We’d love you to join us . .
